Fundamentals of Barbell Training

This Barbells Course has been designed to teach personal trainers the fundamentals of Barbell training. Barbells are one of the best training tools for developing strength, power and muscle mass. However, many of the movements are complex and require correct technique to be effective and minimise injury.

This course covers the key Barbell Exercises in depth so you can use this incredible tool with a broad spectrum of clients. You will Stand Out as a trainer with this course as you will have clients execute key lifts with proficient technique.

What is Covered?

Cues and common mistakes in the basic lifts
When to use certain exercises with your clients and why
The safe and effective progressions of certain exercises to vary the level of complexity
Emphasis will be placed on the correct cues and technical ability of the major lifts and accessory exercises
General Barbell mobility
Olympic lifting exercises from beginner (basic) level to more intermediate exercises Programming
Practical exam is at the end and throughout the entire 2 day course
Theory exam is at the end of the second day.
