TRX Suspension Training Course (STC)

With the versatility of TRX Suspension Training® you’ll have a portable fitness solution to train clients in any setting. You’ll learn how to properly perform and cue foundational Suspension Training exercises as well as the benefits and target muscles of the exercises. Learn modifications and progressions to adapt the exercises to every fitness level.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Properly perform a variety of Suspension Training exercises
  • Progress and regress exercises for all fitness levels
  • Adjust resistance and stability for all exercises
  • Cue and correct common faults
  • Correctly set up and use the TRX Suspension Trainer

PREREQUISITES:

There are no Prerequisites to take this TRX Professional Education Course. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) will only be applied to certified fitness professionals.

TRX Functional Training Course (FTC)

Participants will learn to how to leverage TRX’s movement based training approach on the TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer to teach Foundational Movements and progressions and then apply to a variety of training equipment. Beyond Suspension Training and Rip Training, these other modalities may include: Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, DVRT Ultimate Sandbags, Battling Ropes and Bands.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Apply foundational movement methodology on the TRX Suspension Trainer and TRX Rip Trainer to better modify intensity for a variety of modalities
  • Integrate advanced TRX coaching and cueing techniques
    • Lead pre-programmed, multimodality, circuit-based training workouts

TRX Group Training Course (GTC)

Continue your TRX Education Journey- Expand your marketability and master group coaching techniques in this hands-on eight-hour course. Building on the foundational suspension training knowledge from prior courses, you will continue to advance your coaching skills to effectively lead group training programs.

You will learn how to lead and modify two group suspension training workouts that can be used in any personal training,and small or large group training sessions; TRX Fit & TRX Strong.

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Apply your TRX coaching knowledge to deliver quality group suspension training workouts.
  • Manage the complexity of coaching multiple people, while creating a fun and personalized training experience for all fitness levels.
  • Lead and build “drop-in” style suspension training workouts in two different formats:

    • TRX Strong: a strength-based workout
    • TRX Fit: a high-intensity interval workout

PREREQUISITES:

The Group Training Course (GTC) is farther along the TRX Education Journey, and prior knowledge of the TRX Suspension Trainer is assumed. We strongly recommended having taken either the TRX Suspension Training Course (STC) and/or TRX Suspension Training Basics Digital Course prior to attending this course. You will receive a GTC Pre-Read document along with your manual. Please read prior to your GTC course.

Tommy Yau

With endless qualifications, certification and Master trainer titles under his belt, Tommy has written fitness articles for Singapore’s top daily newspaper the Straits Times and numerous magazines like Shape, Her World, Women’s Weekly and Mens Health.
Being a competitive triathlete, he has completed 8 IRONMAN races in Malaysia, Australia , China and Canada .
Tommy had presented as Fitness Presenter for Asia fitness Convention, GOIFEX , China Fit, Shanghai FIBO, Nike Super workshop .

He lives by his motto:
